I thinked of it today:
- If i'm not dreaming UFO's(i don't know about scripting), external blog post fetcher with title and excerpt with read more(an extra field to add post adress) if the user already has a blog and doesn't want to write the post again.
- And as I wrote on other plugin whislist, don't take to count absurd features to overload Oxwall. It would take to much time to develop them all too and for an opensource thing plugin developers should come in to play.

I like your Blog plugin but can you maybe change the blog site to
somethings like events or group site style.Small content with small info
and viewmore href to the blogs its only a big list atm ....Big Thanks
