Can you please increase the PHP memory limit in the plugin settings page?

I am now chage PHP Memory Size from 60 to  120

About Path to store the Backup files :   Which input good or bad (I confuse about / sign too) ?

1. /home/com/backup

2. /home/com/backup/

/home/com/backup/ will be fine.

Can you confirm if you have provided required 0777 access to the backup folder? Also try increasing the memory size in plugin settings.

yes all done my friend.. 0777 for /home/com/backup

memory size to 120 .. over a week wait no any backup file create  in /home/com/backup

cron work fine too..

any news from this update? because one of my sites isnt backed up either. all settings are correct because i have another site thats backing up. how is it that one site is ok, but the other isnt? is it something to do with plugin conflicts on one site but not the other?

saying that.. suwat has only one and having the same problem. its strange.

one thing ive noticed on oxwall. the feel of oxwall is great.. but way extremely unstable. install just one wrong plugin after another and "bang" bugs errors after error. error 500 and everything else.

having to back up manually. its not good

Its mostly with the folder permissions or resource problem or timeout with your server.

1) Check for the backup folder permission
2) First try just to backup the SQL database. Disable file backup for now to test if process works
3) Increase the memory size in plugin settings.

i have 3 sites, the permission set for all 3 where 755

(yet 1 of the sites where backing up fine everyday)

i have set them now to 777 (will wait and see)

the files are backing up. (only not the SQL isnt)

2 sites missed a day or so sometimes.

hi. its been 3 days and the site hasnt backed up the sql. its enabled, and ive also set it from 60 to 120. files are backing up, but the sql isnt

Generally, database is a small thing in size and it should do without any issues.

Is database backup enabled in settings?

PS: Its part of my job to debug in server to find the actual issue and I am not going to do any harm.

i know.. im not saying you will do harm. im cautious by nature :)

i have 3 sites, 1 backs up fine. (both settings are ticked, files and db)

the other 2 sites dont. (only the files) allthough the db boxes are ticked.

they are from the same host, and all file attributes are the same for all 3 sites.

i have noticed the only 2 differences between 3 sites.

1 site i use everyday with changes and new members. (the one that gets backed up ok)

the other 2 are on hold and not used. because im concentrating on the other site

the second thing ive noticed is the sites that arnt backing up are both set to 120 size from 60. (i remember moving the size up, thinking it may help). so ive put them back to 60.

the site i use regular is alot bigger than the other 2 that arnt saving and backs up ok at 60. so ive put the other 2 back to 60.

one thing that i am thinking, do the sites need to be altered or new materials added etc for the backup to take effect?

i mean, if there are no changes to the site, is the backup ignored and not backed up?

No. It does not matter if new content needs to be added. If these are all on different servers, they might be some issues with server configurations.
