I start created a social network site with Oxwall (GREAT script!!!!) and I reached to some problems I don't know how to fix. I searched trough the forum and did not find the solutions.

3. Video thumbnails not showing in newsfeed section.

Jozko, if you are referring to thumbnails of youtube videos in particular, then we are aware of this issue and we are already working on it.

Is there a hack solution that works? I'm somewhat baffled that this hasn't been fixed by now.

Sean, no hacks yet.

This issue is discussed mainly here http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/12080 ; and once I get any news I will update the topic.

Sean, good news =)
We have fixed the issue and have updated Video plugin.
If your CRON is configured properly, you will get a notice in your admin panel asking to update "Video" plugin in a day or two.
