1. you indicate page title and menu title as "sign-in"

2. make it visible for "guests"

3. make your page local, not external

3. in the page content you indicate this: 

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http://www.yourdomain.com/sign-in" />

otherwise this can be done as a modification only

Chope, also you can do this in the Admin Panel/Privacy and Permissions/Global Privacy

Guest can view the site - set to "No" and Guests will be shown sign-in page on every page of your website as well as on index page

hy, could you help me.. i have some questions.

* if i make thiese changes - Panel/Privacy and Permissions/Global Privacy  ( guests off) so google wont be able to find my site? Seo doest work as i understood?

If you will not make your site visible for guests it won't be indexed by google

if you do such a redirect google does not like that as well, but in this case your other pages will be indexed by google.

You really need to explore the “ADMIN” dashboard area of your site. Go over every link you see in the admin area, it holds a lot of answers your asking. Study the script, go over all of it, if you see a link, click onto it and READ what its telling you what options you have.

here’s a bit of help:

go to your “admin dashboard” click onto “Pages & Menu” there you should see “Main Menu”, "Bottom Menu", "Hidden Pages", "Legend" right?

In the “Main Menu” area you will see a link called “Main”, point your mouse and hover over that link for a second…you see that? An “edit” link appears..so click onto that link! Now you should see “Menu Name” and a field next to it that has the word “MAIN” in it right? (that’s where you would change the “TILTIE” of the link) Now right below that you should see “Visible For” and two (2) boxes that should be both checked? The first one should say “GUEST” and the other should say “Registered Members"..it dose  right?

Ok you see how things are working here? There are  a lot of things in this script that needs your attention and the only way for you to know how things work is to explore the script, you are the ADMIN!
If you uncheck the “Guest” box, only “Registered Members” will be able to see that link called “Main” and so on and so on!

Play around with script, make a test site just to do things with, add modification you find here, add FREE pluins and themes Oxwall offers…You are the ADMIN, know what your script can do for your projects. You’ll find that this FREE script can be used for many things and is very powerful.

Ross i would like my issue resolved by you or one of the other team members. Oxwall team seems to like to move posts alot but little support. I placed the other method in htaccess and it didnt work for me. I must be doing something wrong. Im using 1.6.

I already noted either this method or custom code modification. We move posts which do not belong to the sections, because some members are not even willing to familiarize themselves with the rules of the forum
