Hey everyone,
I've installed oxwall 1.1.1 on my site, went through the installation process using youtube, but even when in installation, the page did not load all the way. I mean images and the design do not load, only text.

Can you help me solve the issue?

for the sample check out http://queenelle.com/net/index.php

Hi
By some reasons this file http://queenelle.com/...es/graphite/base.css
was not created on your server after installation. Please check if it exists in file system. Also check that ow_static has 777 recursive permissions.

If you grant me access to your host cpanel I will certainly have a look and/or reinstall it for you. Free! PM me your cpanel details. If your host meets all the requirements then it should be painless.

Anything I can do to get another oxwall site up and running!!!

How do I check the recursive permissions? Sorry, I am only new to all of this..

The file that is missing is on this location: http://queenelle.com/net/ow_static/themes/graphite/base.css

Is that how it was supposed to be?
My host does not support File manager in the control panel, so I uploaded all of the files via ftp

If you used a FTP program like filezilla then by (in filezilla anyway) right clicking on a file in your remote area and pick permissions you can set it there.

Try uploading THAT file using ftp from the oxwall installation you downloaded.

@addenster, It looks like index.php isnt part of the default doc in the directory.
Can this be set in web.config. The member has this file in their root.

The site only works if you point to index.php but if left blank where other sites will automatically try index.php, this one doesnt, it just shows up a list of files that reside in the directory.

When a fresh install has been uploaded it looks like the css is missing right from the beginning as the install page looks bad as well. I can confirm all files were uploaded so no missing file errors. It also looks like permissions are ok as well...

Any ideas?

I added
((See attached document))

and now it looks like index.php is default BUT I now get a 404 saying ...Install/requirements is missing.

FYI the server is IISV7.

Host company looks like Winhost

@Michael
It seems that this site is hosted by windows server and IIS, which is not compatible with oxwall requirements. Oxwall can be installed on Apache web server only.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. Explains a lot!!!

@Kair, If you want Oxwall, you need a new host.

Ensure that your web hosting environment meets the system requirements for Oxwall. You can find https://superfoamusa.com/the requirements in the official documentation. Make sure your PHP version, MySQL version, and other server settings are compatible.
