because you can not upload gif, I used a different server for upload, and put the url address with animated gif. This worked in version 1.6 and animated gifs works correctly. In version 1.7 does not work. :(((
Please, how do I turn off the album for newsfeed, to be able to work at least url to insert gif?

Furyan Satoo, you will need to comment our or delete following line from ow_plugins/photo/classes/event_handler.php:
$em->bind('feed.before_content_add', array($this, 'feedBeforeStatusUpdate'));
$em->bind('feed.before_content_add', array($this, 'feedBeforeStatusUpdate'));

Hi in Old version a GIF could be loaded in news feed and would move, this worked great for the gif shareing social site. how can i make this hapen in new version please?

sup guys this maybe unrealated ....but the attachments plugin from Serrgey Kamblin handles gifs well so they move in both the newsfeed and profile cover photo

is it possible to create a rule to upload jpg to newsfeed album only, but gifs are not uploaded to this album.
