Would be great to have multiple selectable choices. Can this be a quick modification to the plugin?

Curious if anyone was able to do these modifications themselves? It would basically be like a SELECT function (in the admin panel for this plugin) except that you can choose more than one choices. Or radio buttons would work too.
The workaround I have is to create a separate radio button for each choice. For example, instead of (in a drop down menu):
What flavors do you like (pick all that apply):
Vanilla
Chocolate
Strawberry
Banana
Mango
I have a radio button for each one:
0 I like Vanilla
0 I like Chocolate
0 I like Strawberry
0 I like Banana
0 I like Mango
So you can see how it would be much cleaner if you were allowed to make multiple choices particularly when there are over a dozen choices.
